A Movement so Blessed…We must blog about it.

A Movement so Blessed…We must blog about it.

I was just reading a friend of mines goals for 2010. Duane Lester lays out in no certain terms attainable goals for his online effort. But it was his follow blog post in which I saw the hope and depth of Duane’s character. You see Duane took a good hard look at his 2009 effort and once again laid out goals to attain in 2010. He faced a lot of adversity in 2009, and let himself, his readers and those he had signed on with down in 2009 falling short of his 2009 goals. But he did not back away from his failures. He instead was truthful to his readers, those he associated with and more importantly to himself.

It truly reflects the generous character of the man behind the All American Blogger. I salute Duanes honesty, his ability to share his shortcomings, and success with his readers, friends and colleagues. It is never easy in this political landscape to reveal your hand. Yet, I am sure Duane will attest it is in revealing that hand that you find out who is friend or foe. What truly reflects Duanes metal is that he takes his wifes advice and turns it to prayer. I have come to know as many of you have as well, that what we are doing is always bigger then ourselves.

2 Ways to become a Host on WGGRN.com

2 Ways to become a Host on WGGRN.com

We first were having hosts pay for time slots and own all their own content, and advertising time in the 55 minute time slot. We had a few brave souls that took that challenge on and those that could cut it are still getting Grizzly and doing great.

We have had life happen to the brave souls and all kinds of challenges pop up to hinder those that pioneered the way here on WGGRN.com. So we are shaking things up a bit and letting more people access our serices.

There are two ways to become a host now on WGGRN.com!

1. You can take the entrepreneur path and buy a time slot for $12.50/55 min. Add $2.50 to utilize our Royalty license to play copyright protected music. With this option you own all your own content and have all 55 minutes to sell advertising to monetize your effort! I am still very excited about this option because if our Conservative Grassroots don’t wake the hell up and monetize their efforts, they will just be shooting stars with no real staying power. I am very proud that we can offer this to our membership.
2. You can take the volunteer route and donate your content and talent to Theodore Media LLC giving full ownership of your product with no opportunity to sell advertising or benefit from your effort monetarily but you will gain wisdom, experience and assist our effort to thrive and grow. All proceeds will go to Theodore Media LLC to pay for the time slot and keep us in business providing opportunities for Conservative grassroots.

Both opportunities are taken very seriously by us and no matter which you choose we all win. However since this is a for profit business the first paying position will always take precedent over the second opportunity. Thus time slots maybe lost to a paying entity etc.

Contact Chad Everson for more information about current opportunities and open time slots. GrizzlyGroundswell@yahoo.com

What women and politicians have in common – Part 1

What women and politicians have in common – Part 1

What do women and politicians have in common? Well, for one thing, they both know how to shoot themselves in the foot at the very moment they are sitting in the catbird seat. Let’s begin with politicians. When George W. began his Presidency, his party had control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. He explained to America – his vision for reform programs that would bring relief to many of the ills plaguing this nation. Many factors came into play that prevented this vision from coming to fruition, i.e. the war in Iraq, his own party shooting him in the foot and subsequently shooting themselves in the foot – thus paving the way for the majority in the House and Senate now. However, no one gets a free pass in this political game of chess. The Republicans had the best of all scenarios but they couldn’t get their individuated opinions out of the way long enough to rally behind a new President in order to push forward a conservative agenda born out of intelligent discussion and concern for the American people. Every President inherits the problems of his predecessor and Bush was no exception. Was he a perfect President?

Andy Warhol, where are you when I need a good laugh! Part two

Andy Warhol, where are you when I need a good laugh! Part two

Andy Warhol, where are you when I need a good laugh? I wrote in my previous blog about my first encounter with Andy, the King of the famous Campbell Soup Cans.

As Andy and I stood there discussing his fascination with “I’m not really a film” films – he had asked me to make one of his movies which was simply kissing someone for two hours (not even coming up for air or OMG! going to the bathroom) Career wise, it was a bad move on my part to decline – but that wasn’t what I had come to New York to achieve.

Andy Warhol, where are you when I need a good laugh! Part 1

Andy Warhol, where are you when I need a good laugh! What a trip he was. Recently one of his works sold for 50M which is almost obscene in its utter insanity. Although I knew Andy – I was never a fan of his art. In my opinion, his genius lay in the marketing of Andy Warhol – far superior to any of his other works.

Being a supplier to WalMart is like a Nun who wakes up one morning in bed with Charles Manson! Part Two

Being a supplier to WalMart is like a Nun who wakes up one morning in bed with Charles Manson! Part Two

Being a supplier to WalMart is like a nun who wakes up one morning in bed with Charles Manson. There are so many lawsuits filed on behalf of employees against the big chains such as WalMart, i.e. violating federal laws and flouting international human rights standards not to speak of falling below industry standards for employee pay. Go to the check out at WalMart and ask one of the old timer employees what they think of the computerized check outs. Most of the time, you’ll get an ear full.

Greetings from the Grizzly Groundswell brought to you off my family table.

It has been brought to my attention that people need a street map or tourist pamphlet to understand this huge Theodore Media online effort. This post will serve as a brief overview and in the new year I will have an e-book that interested parties can purchase to get the rest of the story.

Big Tobacco pays blood money for lung cancer research

Big Tobacco pays blood money for lung cancer research

Every one knows that cigarettes eventually kill you. I don’t smoke but if I could get away with it, I would still be smoking because I loved every drag I took! I smoked 3 1/2 packs a day until it dawned on me that I was digging my own grave. I also had a friend who passed away from lung cancer and that impacted greatly. But the “Quit Today” epiphany had to come from me because all the “do gooder” speeches in the world didn’t help. I quit cold turkey and by the third day, every image I saw took the form of a cigarette and I wanted to smoke it…even tree stumps!
