Silly People, Government is for the Elite!

Silly People, Government is for the Elite!

Obama doesn’t think we have any right to question his eligibility to be President because he and his elitist cronies know what is best for us. In his mind, government is not for the people and by the people. It is for those “gifted few” who can see beyond our arcane Constitution and rule with a dictatorial mentality.

We Hold These Truths

If you are a member of Congress or the State governments who approved this latest change, what the blazes where you thinking? Or maybe you didn’t even take the time to read the changes before you cast your vote to violate the rights of the people without regard or thought of the consequences? How could you think authorizing the federal Department of (in)Justice to collect DNA samples from people who are merely alleged to have committed a crime, was not a violation of their Constitutional rights?

Why I Ran for Precinct Committeeman

By Sam Pierce, 3 March, 2010, 2 Comments

Tonight, I will attend my first county Republican Party meeting since being duly elected precinct committeeman on February 2nd. It just so happens that tonight’s meeting is the convention for the Illinois Republican Party groups. I don’t know what the process will entail to vote on officers, state central committeemen, etc. I’m going into this meeting somewhat blind, but with my eyes wide open.

I did not run for precinct committeeman to play the role of partisan puppet. The idea of being a marionette of the party leadership is repulsive. The thought of going door to door in my precinct to disburse information which I view as inadequate or misleading is abhorrent. I sincerely hope that neither of these scenarios is included in the expectations of a Republican Party precinct committeeman, especially in my rural southern Illinois county.

The elections and the subsequent consequences that have occurred since I became politically aware spurred a confused desire to do my part. Confused, because what average citizen knows what he or she can really do? Most have their plates full with the obligations and necessities of daily life, a condition which is not conducive to activism. Apathy is a common result of being busy with everyday life, but unfortunately it is apathy that deserves the blame for much of our current situation.

This past Summer I became aware of a movement to mobilize Illinois citizens to become precinct committeemen and take an active role in the decisions of the party. Is it naïve to believe that a regular guy can have an impact? Perhaps, but complaints ring hollow if the complainer is not willing to make an attempt to make a difference. The rapidly deteriorating level of freedom and the rapidly encroaching reach of bureaucratic entities beyond that which our governing documents define as legitimate combine to create the need to play defense.

The primary reason for my decision to run (albeit unopposed in an apathetic precinct) was the need for defense. It is clear that the simple existence of an “R” on a ballot does not indicate the name of a conservative candidate is next to that “R”. There were even eight Republicans that voted for Cap and Trade in the House last year. Of course, the one from Illinois got rewarded by the party with the nomination to be our candidate for the U.S. Senate! This alone is a prime example of the need for average men and women who possess common sense and a respect for individual rights along with corresponding individual responsibility, to take an active role in party politics.

Illinois is in danger of rivaling California in its budgetary nightmare, having been led into the ground by liberals (not necessarily limited to one party). Entitlements, unsavory politicians, and an environment hostile to business have become prevalent in our state. Of course, there are fewer unsavory politicians in our state than there used to be, but that is only because so many have moved into the White House and this current administration.

The question regarding the ability of an average man being able to make a difference remains unanswered in my mind. This is why I became a precinct committeeman and tonight I begin the process of learning the answer.

Tell me how that works out for you! Just remember to bring a video so we can voyeur it!
Now am I the Tea Party Leader? Hell No! Not me, just a good friend and someone who tries to protect those coming to the Movement that are prey to the wolves and operatives that lay in wait. Be ever vigilant my friends!

Enemy of the State

Enemy of the State

The last ten days have been a time of tremendous revelations regarding the federal government. I have reached the conclusion most Americans have been living under an illusion they are free. The illusion their Constitutional rights are still in place. During the last ten days those illusions have been shattered for me. The blinders have been removed and I see the ugliness of tyranny clearly.

Weathering The Storm.

Weathering The Storm.

Many could ask, “Keith with all of this going on, what stops you from doing something similar to Mr. Stack?” My response has been driven home to me in the last 24 hours. The difference is I have not lost my faith in God. I realize He is sovereign and in control of even my hardships. I realize I am not beyond His grasp during these trying times. He is there beside me every step of the way.

Conservative Control Rods

By Sam Pierce, 17 February, 2010, 3 Comments
Conservative Control Rods

It has been almost twenty years since I graduated from Naval Nuclear Power School at NTC Orlando and my early discharge (medical) meant that I would never work in the engine room of a nuclear powered vessel. I mention this to explain why my knowledge on the subject of nuclear power is fragmented and my memory of the vocabulary might be incomplete, so please forgive any comparison or description that is not entirely accurate from a technical perspective. This isn’t really about nuclear power. Although, it is nice that President Obama is pretending to support it, while secure in the knowledge that the enviro-statists in his base will block and delay any forward movement. This is about the need, in our federal and state governments, for something to act as control rods.

The Rats Are Fleeing the Obama Pelosi and Reid #Failure of Leadership!

It seems that the lack luster Cluster Feck of the much lauded Obama administration with Pelosi and Reid strong arming the Tyranny and Corruption of the contemporary Socialist Squirrel face of Socialism has the Rats fleeing the “hope & Change” ship. Dorgan, Bayh and the lot are getting out while the getting does not include indictments, tar and feathers!

Today Sen. Evan Bayh of Indiana says he hates the Senate…well who doesn’t? He hates the Left Bloggers…well who doesn’t? Now he makes a quick exit from politics…Thank GOD! They hear us loud and clear then!

Conservative Business: For Profit & Non Profit Plug Into Theodore Media Empire

Conservative Business: For Profit & Non Profit Plug Into Theodore Media Empire

The Red River Valley Ox Cart was a vehicle that embodied business and commerce in my backyard as it was pioneered and settled. Today the Ox Carts have been replaced with newer technology and today online we are about to become as important to business as these Ox Carts where to commerce in their day.

Conservative Business both for profit and non profit can now plug their effort into the Theodore Media Online Empire.

A significant online reach is very hard for today’s business, organizations and even our candidates to find without an enormous drain on resources and unsavory advice by “experts” that just don’t grasp todays online landscape. I remember recently hearing one of our members sharing with me that they just sat through a “new Media” lecture where the FAX was considered a “new media” to reach Republican voters. Hey, I am not totally making fun of this idea because the FAX media should not be overlooked to reach a certain business demographic, but come on! The Fax is old redundant technology, not “new media.”

February 15, Theodore Media in 2010

I promised that I would shed light upon some of the changes that are coming to Theodore Media. Well, I like to keep my promises, but I must admit I am going to tease a bit and not reveal all. I thought it would be more appropriate to unfold the changes and opportunities in a better vehicle. So come Feb. 28th I will devote the Temerity Magazine entirely to Theodore Media and provide you with a street map of the Empire with tips and tricks provided to expose its proper use and where you can get the most bang for your buck.

“Pure” is a four letter word in politics

By Sam Pierce, 10 February, 2010, 3 Comments

Note: If you like this post, you may enjoy my primary blog: The Immoderate Blog

Is “pure” the dirtiest four letter word in politics? It appears that to be accused of “purity” or being a “purist”, may be worse than being accused of an act which would, in other arenas of life, be considered immoral, underhanded, hypocritical, or criminal. If it is true, that the word “pure” is indeed the most vulgar of designations one can receive as a judgment of his political activities or opinions, then this might explain the lack of restraint so often demonstrated by those who succeed in politics.

“Purist” is used as an epithet, apparently to discourage the “purist” from engaging further in the political process. It is intended to convey a lack of political sophistication, perhaps coupled with being overly concerned with principles. The label of “purist” is intended to be synonymous with “ignorant”. It seems there is never a good time to consider the views of a “purist”.

A “purist” may find himself at odds with his political party, especially when the party pushes a candidate who is beyond the “purist’s” threshold of acceptability. The “party above principle” supporters might claim that the primary season is the appropriate time to hear the opinions of the “purist”. Of course during the primary season, the “purist” might find that defenders of the party establishment pick (who has the benefit of party and national resources), hostile to the “purist” viewpoint. The establishment pick is held out as the only viable option and the dissent of the “purist” is unacceptable, even in the primary, to those who see nothing beyond the “R” or the “D”.

If the President Calls, Tell Him We Went to Vegas.

By Keith Miller, 7 February, 2010, 2 Comments
If the President Calls, Tell Him We Went to Vegas.

Most of us have enough sense to know whether or not we should buy a boat or take a trip to Vegas. What Obama doesn’t like is the fact we have a choice at all. He would rather control all our money and dole out only what he thinks we need. Under his plan, there would be no boat or trips to anywhere, let alone Vegas. He would rather Washington have use of the money you choose for recreation or entertainment.

MN Caucuses ~ The Conservative Voter Stayed home

MN Caucuses ~ The Conservative Voter Stayed home

Less then twenty thousand(19,137) attended yesterdays MN GOP caucuses across the state of MN. With 95.91% of Caucuses Reporting it was a scant turnout to say the least. Conservatives stayed home disillusioned with the MN GOP leadership and the Gubernatorial candidates stepping forward. I suggest the frustration growing of a socialist squirrel government and teacher union control of the MN GOP has disenfranchised the Conservative Minnesota voter.

Precinct Caucuses and Why I am staying home today!

By ChadTEverson, 2 February, 2010, 7 Comments
Precinct Caucuses and Why I am staying home today!

I am a 4th Generation lifelong Republican. Yet Today here in Minnesota is our Precinct Caucuses. I am staying home. I have lost faith in the Minnesota GOP. I have lost faith in the RNC. I have been active in the past only to find my local MN GOP BPOU to be overtaken by Government workers union and the education union. I had planned to go tonight and interview caucus attendees and ask them if they were going to be compensated from their union for attending. But, I asked myself this question, why do I have to risk my vehicle on the snow covered roads only to attain audio of what I already know to be true.

You see, what I found in getting active in my local MN GOP is that:

1. They want my donations, but they don’t want my activism.
2. They would rather reinvent the wheel then buy advertising for our grassroots effort here.
3. It is all a sham, a facade to make the American citizen feel like a few meetings to attend a year somehow actually make a difference.
4. Although, when you actually get active and make a difference, the union controlled MN GOP will try to shut you down and marginalize your effort.
5. The only thing that I know is effective and works like no other is our media effort that I am doing here. I may be done with the MN GOP!

Now you can call me a hypocrite because I have been trying to ignite your imagination and motivate you to get active in your backyard. I am actually if that was the only way to get active in your backyard. But it is not. There are a thousand ways to get active in your backyard. What I am doing is moving away from citizen member of the MN GOP to that of the news media.

I really hate wasting my time, and the time of others. What I found in my local MN GOP is utter corruption and tyranny.

Early Effects of Proposed Cap & Trade Legislation on Missouri Communities.

Due to the passage of the clean energy legislation in the House, investors and financiers are not interested in coal-fired power plants. This is in spite of the fact that burning fossil fuels remains less expensive for generating cheap electricity.

Grizzly Groundswell a testament of Faith that Moves Mountains

I don’t know if I can fully express my optimism this early in the morning. There are a number of exciting things happening and it seems that I should share them as holding my optimism to close to my vest is so unbecoming of a blogger. When I first started this Grizzly Groundswell back in July 27, 2007 there were certain things that I had envisioned and was given views of what may be possible and what we would be embarking upon. Each time I find myself attaining one of these visions I must confess I am still amazed. Like a child with a twenty in a candy store, the opportunity is endless.
