How to Join the Grizzly Groundswell

The Grizzly Groundswell is a conservative movement.  It is inspired by my great grandfather who had to unite “Real Republicans” or Abraham Lincoln Republicans and Conservative Democrats and Independents to defeat the socialists who under the cover of the Nonpartisan League took over the Republican Party in the early 1900’s.    I see that we are in a similar political landscape today. 

We have two avowed socialist presidential candidates in O. Hussein and Hitlery.  Yet, our Republican McCain candidate runs a good campaign but his history is that of a socialist as well.  Here in Minnesota, our GOP leadership is definately in question and I know my local BPOU is definately under an influence that is not conservative Republican.   

I consider myself a life long Republican.  I wish to unite the conservative voice and restore the Republican Party to a better path, not the middle road.   

However, the Grizzly Groundswell is my version of social networking.  I set the sight up, and own it.  I recruit conservatives of all flavors to post their interests on my site.  Currently, we have 44 of the 50 states with representive bloggers.  Some states we have a lot more bloggers than others.  Which reminds me that I have to update my map.   

The idea is to inspire others to:

1. Awaken:  Become aware of the deceptive danger of Socialism.
2. Stand Up: Defend and stand up with others who uphold conservative thought (regardless of party affiliation)
3. Step into Action:  Do something, what ever gifts you have do it.  If writing posts is not your thing, then create youtube video’s or cartoons.  Create something that communicates the conservative message of the Grizzly Groundswell

Thus: Together we will change the backyard political landscape in each of our backyards.  If I change mine, you change yours, then we inspire thousands of others to do that across the nation….Socialism will once again be brought to it’s knees.   Goals for the Grizzly Groundswell:  

• To be able to whisper and the socialist squirrels will hear us as if we are broadcasting on a shock and awe type platform.
• Create an organization to educate and pass on the diligence to hold the line against socialism.  Ideally I would be able to buy the original Homestead of E. W. Everson making it a working 1890-1930 period farm including a “presidential library” where this organization can meet regularly and host yearly national and international awards and grants workshops and banquets.  (The anti-liberal Nobel)
• Change every backyard into one that is practicing conservative thought and upholding liberty and Freedom!
• Inspire the world to do the same

Hey, if we do not dream big, we can not be granted what God intends for us!   Now:  Since you are still reading, this is all it takes to be a Grizzly Groundswell Mayor:  

1. Register: (found on the far right side of the sight.  Under the intro and in the far right sidebar.  A password will be sent to your email
2. Login:  Same place as above.  Under Grizzly Groundswell meta
3. Now you are in the ADMIN side of the Grizzly!  Fill out your profile.
4. Write your first post accepting your position.  If you have a blog or site let us know about it!  (This also helps me update the site and get to know you!)
5. Then feel free to post on anything that you can promote conservative values, morals, humor and faith through. 
   1. Sundays, you are invited to talk Religion or post faith interests regardless of your affiliation.  Not mandatory, just encouraged.
   2. Hint:  Your post will not stay on top for long, and will get buried so make sure to add categories, tag it, and utilize links to other sites.  Anything so bots searching and readers can find it and read it!
   3. Categories and anything on this site are not set in stone!  If you have need of a better fitting category, let me know, they are easy to add and change!
   4.  research into the new media are encouraged to share!  This industry changes daily.  I do not know hardly anything at all, compared to the collective talent we have here.  I have learned that you need to surround your self in life with the best and brightest.  I have, that is the Grizzly Groundswell!
   5. Have Fun, treat your fellow Grizzly With respect including our readers and commentors.  Even a socialist squirrel can provide a great opportunity to embody what we are all about and provide an educational moment.  Rush limbaugh is the best at this.
   6. Remember, I am always right, even when I am wrong, but feel free to give me a hard time anyway because if I am not giving you a hard time, then I do not know you well enough!
   7. Hint:  Photos, cartoons, images are really great on blogs.  The words are important but the image will grab them into your words.  Use them when you can!
   8. Wordpress.org is a great site to learn more about the blog software.  However, if you need to know how to do something please ask.  If I do not know, I know where to get the answer.  We are amassing resources in fellow authors that is simply amazing!  The best and the brightest and me!
