Lawsuit Filed Over Use of TEA Party Monniker

Legal counsel for Florida Tea Party activists and organizations today filed a complaint against a new political party of the same name seeking a declaratory judgment separating the two groups. The conservative activists also asked the court to order the newly registered Florida Tea Party to stop threatening them and their colleagues with trademark litigation.

“We believe the identity of the Florida Tea Party has been hijacked by cynical forces,” South Florida Tea Party chairman Everett Wilkinson said. “We are especially concerned the group is improperly leveraging the tea party movement to support the gubernatorial campaign of Sen. Paula Dockery.”

TEA PARTY CRASHERS – Your TEA Party Has Been Hijacked!

The TEA Party “political party” in Florida has been hijacked by the Democrats to split the vote. This story is to warn Conservatives about the tricks that the liberal liars have up their sleeves in regards to keeping their power at home and in the cesspool of Washington, DC. These people need to be exposed!

My Daughter-in-Law Thinks I Rock!

We married on November 25, 2008 at the courthouse in my hometown. It was just him, me, the children and the judge that had given me three days for disorderly conduct several years earlier. As odd as that sounds, that same judge played a very crucial role in getting me to the altar that day. You see, I’m a recovering prescription pill addict and that judge was the very first person that had ever demanded any accountability out of me.

A Travesty of Justice: The Prosecution of Lt. Michael Behenna

They stand between us and the unknown. The American soldier is the embodiment of the safety and security that keeps our nation free and peaceful. They are selfless, brave and proud. Duty, honor and country aren’t a mere catch phrase to these heroes, but they are a way of life.

The Homegrown Jihad on the US Military

Most of us in the blogosphere are familiar with the story of the three Navy SEALs being court-martialed on the word of terrorist Ahmid Hashim Abed. Although the story has been picked up by a few main stream media outlets, the case has not gotten the attention it merits. After all, during the Abu Ghraib fiasco, the public was subjected to the ravings of Keith Olbermann nightly. One would think that the prosecution of the men responsible for capturing Abed, the man that orchestrated the murder of four civilian contractors whose bodies were subsequently mutilated, dragged through the streets, burned and hung from a bridge in Fallujah, would warrant as much attention as pictures of a terrorist on a dog leash.

Merry Christmas Senator Shelby!

When it comes to bringing home the bacon, Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) does it better than most. A senior member of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee, Shelby is in a position to procure millions of taxpayer dollars for Alabama – and he certainly has utilized that power.

Living the Good Life Here In the South

Living the Good Life Here In the South

I live in the South – a place the gets a bad rap in the rest of the country. Most people that haven’t lived here get what they think they know from such cinematic masterpieces as “Deliverance”. I’ll admit that it is hard to have any respect for Ned Beatty after seeing him in his skivvies and squealing like a pig. But that misconception of the South really belies the fact that it is composed of the best of the best when it comes to the people and the lifestyle we adore.

The Oath of a Military Wife

Above my desk at work is a plaque with the words:
“I am fortunate to live, walk and breathe among the bravest of heroes. I am a proud military wife.”

Grim News for Soldiers: Pentagon To Consider Widening Definition of “Extremist Organization”

Thanks to Major Nidal Hasan, the Pentagon is considering widening the scope of the regulations regarding the rights of soldiers to participate in “dissident and protest activities”. This is grim news considering the liberal democrat who is Commander-in-Chief.

The Death of the Republic: Treason in Copenhagen

Back in October I decided to read the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. This document was put forward September 19, 2009 by the UN, and lays the foundation for the Copenhagen Climate Conference to be held December 7-18, 2009. I was horrified at what I discovered. If signed and ratified, this treaty will undermine our national sovereignty and threaten our economic well-being to the point of our possible eventual absorption into the One World Government being lauded by the UN and the world elite. It will reduce our standard of living to that of a third world country. If it is merely signed, history has shown us it will be instituted piecemeal by unconstitutional Executive Orders, as was done with the Agenda 21, adopted at United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 and imposed by an Executive Order from Clinton in 1993.

The Reformation of Libz Bane

I also realized that we had a one party system with two PR departments. The GOP was no great friend to America and the Democrats, well…they had never really been anyway.
