(Forgive me if you have signed up for the Grizzly Groundswell and been invited to Samsphere 2008 Chicago and I forgot to highlight you.)
Grizzly Groundswell Readership and Members!
This next weekend I will be attending Samsphere 2008 in Chicago. I am grateful to be included with such talented heavy hitters as those listed to attend above. I was very interested to see so many Grizzly Groundswellers were also included in the invitation only event. What an honor to be included and have so many contributors also invited to the event.
With your help, the Grizzly Groundswell has really grown and together, we are getting notice! July 27th of 2007 was the birth of the Grizzly Groundswell with our first version on another url. We quickly grew and together we have been growing ever since. We have celebrated many victories and commiserated on the few setbacks. However, if you would of told me that I would be invited to such a prestigious summit of bloggers just 9 months after creating the Grizzly Groundswell I would of told you, what took so damn long! LOL, just kidding. Honestly, I am very humbled. I only hope that I can do just as good as job representing you Grizzly Groundswellers as you deserve.
I really do not know what to expect. I hope I can learn much more about this industry and technology so that I can effectively lead us into this next year. It will be great to get to meet all the event goers but especially those who have become fast friends as contributing and belonging to our now large Grizzly Groundswell. It is going to be interesting.
I am a bit excited to meet some of the biggest names in conservative blogging. Personally, I have created and grown the Grizzly Groundswell as a place where all levels of bloggers can share the voice and contribute to the success of the site and our conservative message. I invited the up and comer as well as the established. The Grizzly Groundswell was here for each individual to take advantage of the opportunity granted. While cream always rises to the top, it is important that most everyone likes a good glass of milk with their Oreo cookies. I have enjoyed throwing in some bloggers who I knew would have a totally opposite view on issues then the majority on the Grizzly Groundswell. Without some tension in life, readership dwindles and it is fun to be challenged and show our emence diversity in the conservative movement. Why we probably all agree on the rock core of issues, conservatism is as diverse as our American landscape. You see I know that from where I come from in North Dakota. Small towns are enriched with the diversity of genius and eccentric creativity.
The one thing that I hope comes out of this meeting is a better understanding of how I can turn this Grizzly Groundswell into an association that will allow us all to come together from time to time. I can not wait until the day when I can shake all your hands and personally thank you for making this little idea a brilliant reality.
I also want you to know that Samsphere 2008 starts Friday night and goes through Sunday. If you are in the area, let me know! Sunday it lets out and I do not leave until Monday so it would be grand to meet with you! Also, I will be able to post and check email through out the event. I am representing you so I want your input as well. I will try to send an email announcing the event late Friday Night. I will then keep you up as best I can. Please, feel free to bring your questions, insight, brilliant observations and concerns to light. Let me know if I have permission to share them with the whole. I will not share anything you do not wish me too, but I want you to feel like you have a good representative present at this event. Also feel free to let Jenn, Mario, Doug, Bill, Tristan, Jeff, or myself in the loop.
Also, I would really like input on how we can come together to form an association to further our conservative message and keep socialist squirrels on the run along with all their nuts. It would be nice to have a goal of getting that up and running this next year and maybe on our third year anniversary, coming together in a similar convention. (Just a heads up on the direction I am considering taking this Grizzly Groundswell, feel free to chime in on your vision!)
I wanted to especially thank Sam Adams Alliance for making this opportunity happen for me and all those invited and who we represent, you, the Grizzly Groundswell readership and contributors.
If you are in our readership and would like your input heard please comment on this post or email me personally:
Since this post will be buried in a matter of moments due to our great contributors as they get our message out, I will try to repost and let you know what is going on and remind you to:

WOW! Great post!!!
Also, I just updated the list to include hard links and a few other names that were missed (specifically Doug Welch)
See you in a few days!
-Eric
Well, it is confirmed. I will be there on Sat in the Morning. I get in to O’hare around 8:30 or so
And it is Stix Blog. Not Styx Bog.
I am not in the “Grand Illusion”
Just kidding, everyone thinks my nickname is spelled that way.
And can someone tell Chicago it is suppose to be spring and not snow:
Friday
Rain or snow likely. Highs in the upper 30s. Chance of precipitation 60 percent.
Friday Night
Cloudy with a 30 percent chance of snow. Lows around 30.
Saturday
Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s.
Sunday
Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
Stix,
I’ve been waiting for global warming to kick in for the last four months!!!
We had half a foot of snow here in Chicago last Friday…
-Eric
Great Event! Looking forward to meeting everyone. I plan to arrive on Friday Evening for the “full meal deal.” Hope weather holds - driving in from Arkansas. You may have heard, it has been very wet here. Had in two days, 12 inches of rain last week. Flooding in the State.
Drive safe! I pray we all have safe travels!
Doug, I know better! I just love Styx, Mr. Roboto!

Updated list, I will change the story as well.

Looking forward to meeting you.
Fred,
Welcome and consider this your invitation to join us here on the Grizzly Groundswell!
I can not wait to meet you in Chicago! I have so much to learn from those invited and yourself!
It is going to be a great investment of our time!
I will see you on Friday!
Chad
YEs Fred join us at the Grizzly Groundswell. We can always use the help in getting out the word. I know that I do not come by here enough and I have more of a World Poltic’s blog, but now that the Primaries are over in Illinois, it is time to get Durbin out of the Senate.
