New Grizzly Governor of Kansas!
My name is Rebecca, aka Rivka, and I live in the great state of Kansas.
I am announcing that I accept the position of “Grizzly Groundswell Governor of Kansas” and am excited to get started!

My blog mirrors who I am and my writing stems from the core of who I am. I am a conservative before I am a republican and in the center of my life is Christ. I believe all of us have intrinisic value because God created us, and that His desire is for all to have a personal relationship with him.
I must make it clear that although I have strong opinions against the ideology of liberals, I do not hate them, but it is a blast countering their positions with truth. Most democrats are well-meaning people who are simply mis-led and blind to the truth.
I am married to a godly and most handsome man, and have a wonderful stepdaughter who is 24, graduated with high honors at Texas A&M and recently just got married to an incredible man who is also a doctor serving his residency. We have four young boys ages eight to three, two of which are on the autism spectrum. Not only do I love writing commentary on the events of the world I am also a lover of art, great photography and music although I can’t draw or take good pictures. However, I do have a prior carreer singing professionally, and playing drums and percussion instruments on the side. I find it amazing how wonderfully artistic God is and marvel at his creation and those he has given great talent to.

There is a lot of stereotypes about conservatives that I love to debunk. There are also many media stereotypes of Christians that need to be changed as well. Anyway, thanks for the quick resonse and for the privilege to post here!
welcome aboard. The State of Kansas is beutiful. I went to the University of Kansas for a year and it was great. Also I have some family that lives in Iola and the Witchita area. Both of my Grandparents came form Kansas. And the family that are still there are the salt of the Earth.
I also love great art and music. Some of it maybe a little different, but I love the classics, Bosch, Beethoven, Bach, Monet.
Yes there are many false stereotypes of conservatives, and I am living proof. I a not the typical conservative that the MSM says I am.

Yep, we are all living proof literally that conservatism as well as Christianity are not at all what the liberals would like for the world to believe. unfortunatly, there are those whacko Christians who give us a bad name, but there are always bad apples in the bunch.
Yes my friends think I am brianwashed by Rush Limbaugh and that I thinik that Bush can do no wrong. He should look at my blog a little bit and see I do not fall along the Party line on everything. I think for myself.
I think it is the Left that is brianwashed by the MSM and Liberal schools into thinking the US is the bad guys in everything. The funniest is when they tell me that the MSM is too far to the Right.
