Michael Savage is not talking about the companies (Citrix and Office Max) that recently pandered to the terrorist enablers at the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), nor does he seem per our experience to be taking calls on this subject. He said only that the companies could be identified by searching the Internet. We speculate that there are two reasons for this:

(1) Savage may be under a contractual obligation to not disparage the companies that were previously paying for advertising on his show, and not to allow his show–over which he obviously exerts editorial control–to be used for this purpose.
(2) Even if the above were not the case, Savage might look foolish by disparaging companies that he was endorsing until recently.

It is therefore necessary for decent Americans to take independent action to punish Citrix and Office Max for taking a stand with the terrorist enablers at CAIR, and thereby it clear to every other corporation in the country that it is heap bad business to stand with CAIR. First, however, we must clarify the term “terrorist enabler.” It is by no means illegal to be a terrorist enabler, but it should nonetheless evoke moral outrage from all decent people.

An enabler in most definitions is a person who through his or her actions allows someone else to achieve something. Most often the term enabler is associated with people who allow loved ones to behave in ways that are destructive. For example, an enabler wife of an alcoholic might continue to provide the husband with alcohol. A person might be an enabler of a gambler or compulsive spender by lending them money to get out of debt.

Enablers versus perpetrators, accomplices, or providers of material support
Perhaps a better example would be a drug abuse enabler. It is illegal to provide someone with cocaine or heroin, just as it is illegal to provide material support for terrorist organizations. It is not, however, illegal to ignore, make excuses for, or whitewash a drug user’s behavior to protect him from the consequences of his addiction. As an example, a coworker might enable a drug user’s behavior by telling management that his friend is “sick” while taking on a share of the friend’s work. This is not against the law, but it is obviously a disservice to everyone involved: the addict, the addict’s employer, and the enabler himself (because he has to do the addict’s work).

The Anti-Defamation League, which is on record as sanitizing and whitewashing anti-Semitic and other forms of hate speech from MoveOn.org and Al Sharpton, is an enabler for anti-Semitism even though it does not generate any anti-Semitic material itself. MoveOn.org is in turn an enabler for Palestinian terrorism because its official bulletins downplay the terrorism while blaming Israel for somehow “provoking” the violence.

In late July, I contacted Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman and director of communication at the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). When he returned my call, he presented his point of view about the Arab-Israeli conflict and militant Islam. When I reminded him about CAIR’s record of openly supporting Hamas, Hizbullah, and other organizations deemed by the government to be terrorists, he replied by telling me that “CAIR does not support these groups publicly.”

But Hooper must have realized that he had said too much: he lost his composure and I suddenly found myself listening to a dial tone!

…This led me to research CAIR further.

CAIR was founded in 1994 by two former officials of the Islamic Association for Palestine, a group that former FBI counter terrorism chief Oliver Revell acknowledged was formed as a front for the Palestinian Arab terrorist group, Hamas. One of CAIR’s official founders and its executive director, Nihad Awad, openly expressed support for Hamas, Hizbullah, and numerous other Arab/Islamic terrorist organizations.

Mr. Hooper has defended Saudi financial support of Palestinian suicide bombers. In spite of this, much of America’s present political establishment embraces CAIR as a legitimate, mainstream, Muslim-American organization.

CAIR on Pew Poll: Support for Al Qaeda Nothing to Worry About adds a YouTube video in which Ibrahim Hooper speaks for himself. Listen to Ibrahim Hooper downplay domestic “Islamic” support for terrorism (e.g. because Black Muslims feel “alienated” from society, or because of “wishful thinking” that Arabs didn’t perpetrate 9/11) instead of denouncing these behavioral choices. Ibrahim Hooper is not doing the Muslim-American community any favors by downplaying and whitewashing the disloyalty to the United States (according to the Pew poll) of a substantial, although not majority, proportion of Muslims in the United States.

Similarly, Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American Islamic Relations told MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson, “I don’t see a rise of religious extremism in the Muslim community….If you look at the totality of the survey results, the views of American Muslims more or less mirror the views of people of all faiths of America.” He did not cite, however, any evidence for this mirroring — any survey, for example, of Christians or Jews indicating any significant percentages of support for, say, the Ku Klux Klan, or abortion clinic bombers. Terrorism expert Steven Emerson, meanwhile, confronted Edina Lekovic of the Muslim Public Affairs Council on CNBC’s Lawrence Kudlow show, reading an editorial in praise of Osama bin Laden published in the UCLA Muslim Students Association’s newspaper in 1999, while she was editor of the paper. Lekovic denied having been the editor of the paper at that time, but Emerson has made available a pdf of the paper’s masthead that lists her as editor. Kudlow had asked Lekovic what Muslims in America were doing to combat the jihadist views expressed by some in the poll, and she stated that they were doing a great deal, but offered no specifics — and the incident with Emerson damaged her credibility. In fact, neither the CAIR nor the MPAC website contains any announcement about any program or initiative of any kind designed to lessen support for suicide bombing and Al-Qaeda within the Muslim community in America.

CAIR calls Michael Savage an Islamophobe
From CAIR’s own Web site, this is the material to which CAIR takes exception. We will say up front that Savage’s program is as much showmanship as it is news, and an intelligent listener must separate the wheat from the chaff. CAIR’s problem is that the wheat includes the absolute truth about Islamic supremacy.

Savage: “I’m not going to put my wife in a hijab, and I’m not going to put my daughter in a burqa.”
Islamic supremacists do want to force women to wear sacks, and take away their civil rights in the bargain. In Saudi Arabia, women, like Christians, are considered half-human for blood money compensation purposes.

Savage: “[Islamic supremacists] cut the clitoris off women.”

According to the United Nations, it is estimated that over 130 million women have had some form of FGM performed on them. This practice is often associated with the religion of Islam, and is most often perfomed in Middle Eastern and North African countries. In both of the African nations of Somalia and Djibouti, 98% of women have had this procedure. Because of immigration, however, the practice of FGM has recently become more prevelant in Europe and North America. Concerns for the health of women and girls as young as three who are subject to this procedure, have led to legislation making FGM illegal in the United States. In 1994, a bill to ban FGM was introduced in the House of Representatives by Pat Schroeder (D-Colo). This bill, H.R. 3864, was later combined with H.R. 941 and passed into law in September of 1996.

Savage calls the Koran a “book of hate.”
Sura V, “The Table,” says, “O believers! take not the Jews or Christians as friends. They are but one another’s friends. If any one of you taketh them for his friends, he surely is one of them! God will not guide the evil doers!”

May Usama bin Laden bomb you!” “We will take revenge on you.” “7/7 is on its way!” (7/7 = the London subway bombings) “We want Danish blood!” “Jihad! Jihad! Jihad!” “Khalbar, khalbar, o Jew!” (refers to Mohammed’s conquest of Khaibar.)

“If you are a non-Muslim, you are guilty of not believing in God” to hear a mullah in the United Kingdom tell us why it is justified to kill non-Muslims. Listen to the pre-medieval throwback speak for himself. He also says the whole world is “Dar-el-Harb” (House of War).

Muslims in America to see these barbarians desecrate an American flag while proclaiming that they are not loyal to the United States. They also say that Islam will dominate the world. We advocate the solution that was applied to the last individual who said he was going to conquer the world and establish a thousand-year Caliphate Reich.

Michael Savage is 100 PERCENT RIGHT about these pre-medieval throwbacks, and deportation is indeed the answer. “Deportation, not reeducation,” right on! If they don’t like the United States, we don’t have any walls to keep them in.

ALSO send your Staples or Office Depot receipts to your local Office Max with an explanation. Call your local Office Max and tell them why you will not be patronizing them in the foreseeable future. The manager is not allowed to comment on corporate policy, but he or she won’t appreciate corporate decisions that cost business and may result in the store’s closure.
