Will Windbelt technology allow ordinary people to invest in wind farms?
I just discovered Windbelt technology. If it’s all it seems to be, everyone could benefit from the less-expensive alternative to wind turbines.
That could mean true economic development–the kind where ordinary people invest in wind farms and drive the production of wind energy. No need for government incentives!

Gwen,
It takes a North Dakotan! This is wonderful! I would be interested in anyway I could with this technology. My sculptor brain now will not shut off tonight! What a great way that could be multiplied over and over again in a small amount of space!
This is really brilliant!
On a small scale, I imagine this would be more efficient then on a large scale. Also with resonance, I am wondering what wild and crazy things may start happening if this was utilized on a large scale. Would it change the dynamics of things with the resonance and the maganet and electricity generated?
I can not get out of my mind an installation of these things across a valley, like Valley City’s Hi-line bridge. I wonder what sound would come off these? It could really be lovely! It could also be very interesting.
Great post, glad you made it over to the Grizzly Groundswell! Now I am never going to get some sleep!
