Hour Of Power: Walter Moore And Jamiel’s Law
In a bid for both Mayor of Los Angeles, and to remove the stain of being a “Sanctuary City,” Mayoral Candidate Walter Moore will be holding an “Hour Of Power” on August 16th. There will be multiple locations throughout Los Angeles were petition signatures are being collected in an attempt to get “Jamiel’s Law” put on the ballot for the populace to vote on directly.
As of this writing, they are looking to collect just shy of 74,000 signatures.
Considering how many lives are affected on a daily basis by gang activity (gang members of which are here in the U.S. illegally) in Los Angeles, that shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish. What Jamiel’s Law essentially does is end Special Order 40 and require people in jail to be asked about immigration status and deported if in the country illegally.

but is a first step to put a dent in this horrible law
