SoCal’s Earthquake And It’s Earthquake Preparedness
So as we’ve all heard, (thanks to the media’s lack of anything else to report,) about the shaker we just had here in Southern California recently. It was only a 5.4 magnitude, and centered in the Chino Hills area of Los Angeles. As it stands, only minor damage, and no serious injuries were reported. Sounds like just another shaking-day here for us in Sunny SoCal.
But the media’s main focus for the most part, has been centered on “preparedness.” Trying to evoke the visions of FEMA’s response in Katrina I suppose. Okay, sure. Preparedness. That’s a valid topic to expound upon. So let’s explore that a bit, shall we?
