Why Massachusetts Is A Failed State
Jeff Jacoby’s Boston Globe column explains in vivid yet simple detail why the “Commonwealth of Massachusetts” is a failed state. It is a failure in terms of its political “culture”, a “culture” that can justifiably be classified as parasitical. A parasite is, by necessity, dependent on a host(s) for its very survival and brings nothing to the table in terms of progress. Conversely, the host(s) provides the nourishment requisite to sustain the entire system. What does this analogy mean for Massachusetts? It suggests that the Commonwealth is on a collision course to fiscal disaster aided and abetted by two classes of parasites: greedy public employee unions and greedy government workers masquerading as “public servants”. The author of this blog posting is indeed angry enough to fight back and intends to do so, in part, by voting to ELIMINATE the Massachusetts state income tax this coming November.
