Grizzly Groundswell

It seems there is a grassroots movement to get an honorable Black man on the Presidential ticket as a write in. I admire and applaud that. I use to think the world of Colin Powell and I would still very much like to shake his hand. However, after the shake up and way he served our President I am not sure I could support him for the highest office in the world. Although, I was not behind the scenes and I am sure if I was, my perception may be different. I am not supporting him this presidential ticket but here on the Grizzly Groundswell I support those who do and I want to get their voice out there.

Declaring the “Romancing the Grizzly Strategy” a success with being granted a press credential to the RNC National convention. It seems that John McCain knows that he McCan’t do it alone but needs the conservatives that I represent here on the Grizzly Groundswell behind him. So my support will go to McCain as long as us conservatives can keep him on a short leash and on the right side of the aisle as much as possible. He will honor our military men and women and keep us safe from without. From within, we must continue to lead and keep ourselves safe by chasing out Socialist Squirrels where ever we find them in the government and our beloved institutions.

I have been a reader of your site for awhile, and have enjoyed many of the topics posted. When I received an E-Mail from a friend recently, I thought it might be a good topic for your discussion.

The E-Mail was discussing the possible outcomes of the US 2008 Election. It wasn’t until I saw who this E-Mail was wanting to be elected that I got curious. The E-Mail that my friend received was a movement to get Colin Powell written in as President of the United States, or at least to gain enough supporters that it would get him on one of the current candidate’s tickets.

One really great post I loved on http://www.groundswellforcolinpowell.org was Colin Powell’s Rules:

1. It ain’t as bad as you think. It will look better in the morning.
2. Get mad, then get over it.
3. Avoid having your ego so close to your position that when your position falls, your ego goes with it.
4. It can be done!
5. Be careful what you choose. You may get it.
6. Don’t let adverse facts stand in the way of a good decision.
7. You can’t make someone else’s choices. You shouldn’t let someone else make yours.
8. Check small things.
9. Share credit.
10. Remain calm. Be kind.
11. Have a vision. Be demanding.
12. Don’t take counsel of your fears or naysayers.
13. Perpetual optimism is a force multiplier.

I went ahead and made bold the ones that point to Colin Powell’s eternal optimism. I think our optimism as conservatives truly define who we are and who the socialist squirrels are not. We build with optimism and the Socialist Squirrel destroy with pessimism. Colin Powell is a great man and maybe will be a Presidential candidate in years to come, but this year, this Grizzly Groundswell Teddy Bear must support McCain as we lead McCain to the right in order to defeat the Socialist Squirrels of Obamanation and Heir Hitlery.

That is right, I do not feel Hillary is out of this picture. She is a liberal out of power and that makes her dangerous. The DNC loves to tie loose ends with helicopter crashes so my best tip to Obama and Bill is not to set foot in one. If Hillary and the DNC bumps off Obama, she will have successfully destroyed her party and maybe race relations for her blood thirst for power. If Hillary and the DNC bump off Bubba Bill then heir Hitlary can ride to the election as a victim and widow. If you look at the failed and old Socialist Squirrel DNC playback these are two viable options for Hillary. Bill and Obama, I don’t want to see you befall this fate at the hands of your socialist squirrel DNC and IWW party. So keep your head on a swivel and don’t step foot in any helicopters. Now if I was blogging back before the DNC and IWW iced Wellstone, I would of told Wellstone the same thing and reminded him of his promise not to run again.

Now until my dieing day here in Minnesota some idiot socialist squirrel will still have a Wellstone sticker on his bumper.
