Lieberman: America Likely To Be Attacked In 2009
And I would have to say, I agree with him. I do believe that there is a high probability that one of the MANY groups/ sects/ factions/ organizations/ etc., that hate us (and there are plenty,) will try to do something, here, on U.S. soil. And as Lieberman said, it will most likely happen early in the next presidents term.
It does make a considerable amount of sense. And it does raise a very interesting question; That is, who do we want in charge when (if) something does in fact happen? I for one, will not be particularly thrilled if that person is Obama. Even though Ret. Gen. Wesley Clark boisterously stated that riding in a jet doesn’t give the command experience required for presidency. Having actually “served” in the Armed Forces is vastly more experience than Obama has.
