Obama’s Fundraising Hypocrisy: Takes Voters for Idiots
The following unsolicited bulk E-mail from Obama for America demonstrates Obama’s total contempt for the intelligence of the American voter by claiming that Obama is rejecting Federal election funding out of an idealistic desire to fix a “broken” campaign system. The truth is that his rejection of Federal funding frees him to accept unlimited six figure bundled contributions such as those enumerated below, without any limit on what he can spend to get elected.
Since we announced our decision not to accept taxpayer funds for the general election, tens of thousands of people like you have come forward to declare their independence from a broken system.
This decision frees us to build a movement of millions of people giving whatever they can afford to a campaign that is truly reforming the way our political process works.
What it frees Obama to do is exceed the Federal spending limits that would apply if he accepted Federal money. Perhaps this smart college boy (political science) with the Harvard law degree really does think that those “bitter” small town Pennsylvanians who cling to guns and religion are too stupid to see through this. Of course, character, honesty, and integrity have never been Obama’s strongest points.
But we have our work cut out for us, and we need to grow this movement. Right now, you can declare your independence and help us run a campaign that is funded by the people and for the people.
Right, Barry. Per OpenSecrets.org, here are some of the “people” who are funding your campaign. Ordinary, little people like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Time-Warner giving whatever they can afford through the bundling of six figure contributions from owners, employees, and their family members.

“This table lists the top donors to this candidate in the 2008 election cycle. The organizations themselves did not donate , rather the money came from the organization’s PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals’ immediate families.”

UBS AG $364,806
JPMorgan Chase & Co $362,207
Citigroup Inc $358,054
National Amusements Inc $320,750
Lehman Brothers $318,647
Google Inc $309,514
Harvard University $309,025

Right, Barry, “little ordinary people” like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Lehman Brothers, Time Warner, Exelon, and so on giving whatever they can afford in bundled contributions from employees and family members. And let’s not forget the $60K or whatever from George Soros and his family.

This guy is such a fraud and a fool (see “Winnie The Pooh” foreign strategy) one wonders if he “can get away with it”..
Unfortunately McCain is far from an inspiring or particularly bright man.
If you hate America, Vote Obama. IF you don’t care about America, do nothing or vote third party.
If you want America to survive, it time to support John McCain. Like many others, I was originally supporting another candidate. However, that does not mean my choice was the choice for the majority of the GOP.
