Shed Some Light On Your Backyard Letting Them Hear Your Grizzly Growl!

![]()

Here on the Grizzly Groundswell we want to find resources that help us shed some light on our backyards institutions. How else can we find leverage to chase those socialist squirrels out of our beloved institutions and government. I found this resource through the Samsphere Chicago 2008 event.
The key to making this great resource work is to get great volunteers who are willing to help grade your local government agencies and institutions. Besides they give great training on wiki’s! I plan on implimenting this new knowledge not only on sunshine review but also on my http://eweverson.com and http://Independentvotersassociation.com as I document my great grandfathers story and IVA organization he founded and served as President of. He then went on to bring the socialist NonPartisan League to it’s knees when his IVA was able to recall the very first Governor in American History.
Who says one person’s efforts can not make a difference especially in their own backyard? Join this great resource and together lets really assist them in their efforts to shed light on all our backyards.
Kirsten, who trained me in on how to utilize a Wiki, sent me the following post to help get the word out there.
Please take this opportunity to heart. Awaken, Stand Up, Step into Action thus changing the Political Landscape in your Backyard!
Government transparency is one of the latest political hot topics—because in an era when virtually any other type of information is available in a matter of moments, people are fed up with the lack of information available about their own government.
That’s why I’m so excited about Sunshine Review, a new website devoted to promoting government transparency. This site—a wiki, built on MediaWiki software (the same used by Wikipedia)—is designed to allow people to collect and share information about government transparency, openness, and accountability at the state and local level. It aims to be a comprehensive source for all matters related to government transparency, including anything from how to access your personal FBI file to exposing government corruption at the source.
And, one of Sunshine Review’s most exciting features is its 10-point Transparency Checklist, a list of ten accountability and transparency features that, ideally, voters and citizens in any part of the United States should be able to find on city websites, county websites , school district websites, and state agency websites. Using this checklist, citizens can compare and rate government websites and use this information to promote a more transparent government—instead of being forced to rely on FOIA to obtain information.
For more details about Sunshine Review, visit www.sunshinereview.org or contact Kristin McMurray at the Sam Adams Alliance. I hope you’ll join me in using this important tool for greater government openness and transparency.
Hope it helps! Keep in touch.
