It depends on who you are listening to Michelle….
WASHINGTON - Democrat Barack Obama and his wife said Thursday the public is tired of hearing about incendiary remarks by their former pastor, as they sought to put the controversy that has rocked his presidential campaign to rest.
“We hear time and time again voters are tired of this,” Michelle Obama said in an interview the couple gave to NBC’s “Today” show.
“They don’t want to hear about this division, they want to know what are we going to do to move beyond these issues,” she said. “And what made me feel proud of Barack in this situation is that he is trying to move us as a nation beyond these conversations that divide.”
Yes Michelle, the people you and Barack talk to the most, your supporters, probably are tired of this. They are tired of this because it makes your husband, and you, look bad.
It shows Barack to have a complete lack of judgement in sitting in this man’s church for 20 years and not understanding what a racist that he is.
Having read excerpts of your college thesis Michelle I can see why you liked Pastor Wright. You two are clearly of one mind.
Yes, Barack is supposed to unite the country yet he can not even unite his own party.
I’m sure you would like us to stop talking about Pastor Wright Michelle but like it or not you and your husband are tied to him. You made the choice to have him marry you, you made the choice to have your kids baptized by him, your husband made the choice to call Wright his Spiritual Mentor.
Now, when all those choices make it clear that you and your husband exercised a stunning lack of judgement you don’t get to just wipe it away with a “we’re tired of hearing about it”.
Sorry Michelle but you are going to be stuck with Pastor Wright through November and beyond. The American people are not so dumb as to think you can sit through that for 20 years and just now understand and disassociate.
We’re not as dumb as you think we are.
Well some of us are clearly that dumb, they would be the people who are tired of hearing about this.
Hhopefully not enough of us are dumb enough to elect your husband to a job he is not qualified for.
