I find this interesting. In an effort to prove he is strong on terror, Barack Obama criticized Jimmy Carter for meeting with Hamas. Here is what he said about Jimmy Carter’s meeting:

“That’s why I have a fundamental difference with President Carter and disagree with his decision to meet with Hamas,” Obama said. “We must not negotiate with a terrorist group intent on Israel’s destruction. We should only sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism, recognize Israel’s right to exist and abide by past agreements.”

Obama is exactly right about this. We must not negotiate without preconditions with a terrorist organization hell bent on destroying Israel. What I find interesting is the fact that Iran has the same goals as Hamas, yet Obama has no problems sitting down without conditions and talking to Ahmadinejad. Either Obama is naive or is dangerously unaware. Or he could just be sitting on both sides of the fence. He sees an opportunity to gain political points by criticizing Carter and appear tough on terror at the same time, yet he doesn’t see the similarities between Hamas and Iran. Let’s not forget Obama refused to vote to label Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization, something even Hillary was smart enough to do.

No matter what the reasoning is for his “erratic” foreign policy positions, he is proving to us that he just doesn’t have the experience to be president.

But then again, according to Obama I am just a bitter small town American who is clinging to my gun and antipathy toward people who aren’t “like” me to explain my frustrations. Ahmadinejad is not like me, but he longs to cling to something much more powerful than a gun.
