Rev. Wracist, I Mean Rev. Wright Speaks

Well by now you’ve all seen the news clips, that the Rev. Wright has finally agreed to do a propaganda video, … erm, I mean interview, since the “Wright-Gate” fallout began to burst the Obama-Bubble of love. Like any now-a-days Hollywood movies, if you’ve seen the trailer, you’ve seen the movie.

Wright has already told us what we knew to be true.

And there’s really no need for us to hear him speak again. (And Obama can only wish he wouldn’t speak again, ever.) Rev. Wright has made it pretty clear that he is anti-American and a racist. End of story. At least, one would think that to be the end. But nooooooo. Wright had a few things to say when interviewed on PBS by Bill Moyers that just added to the wonderful mind-blowing rants we’ve been subjected to.

Wright spoke of how he is a preacher, and Obama is a politician. He continued with how Obama was up there just “speaking like a politician,” when responding to the remarks Wright made in his sermons. And how Wright just preaches the word, and they are two separate things.

Sorry Wright. Itty-bitty sound bites or not, your racist rants were a preaching of politics, not the “Word of God.” I don’t recall finding anywhere in the Gospels let alone anywhere else in the Bible, Old or New Testaments, of Jesus or The Lord giving a parable of “the U.S. government shalt inflictith thine people with the wrath of AIDS.” I wasn’t able to find any reference anywhere in the Bible of “and Arabs shalt siezeth many craft, of which the likes thou hast never seeneth to slam into their towers for their iniquity.”

Sorry, couldn’t find them. They’re just not there, no matter how much you try to “interpret” the texts in your sermons favor, it’s not flying with America.

Leave it to the media, that “fair and balanced” media that is, to completely gloss over the entire racial aspect of the issue. A lot of mention on how Wright and his “ministry” if that’s what you want to call it, have been mischaracterized. How do you mischaracterize “..NO..not God Bless America,.. God DAMN America..”?
