There is no question that Hillary Clinton’s 10 point win in the keystone state was a perfect margin, from the vantage point of John McCain. It was large enough to prevent the Super Delegates from breaking to Obama just yet but it was not large enough to convince them to break for her either.
Result: Stalemate.
The window on a pre-convention resolution is closing fast. There will be no Super Delegate Primary. This is going to the Convention.
At the convention, States won, votes won and delegates won will be meaningless. Anyone who thinks Obama has sealed this up is just delusional. He may yet win….but only after a bloody floor fight. This game, for all practical purposes, is tied and going into sudden death overtime. If you think, for one second, that Obama is prepared for the coming storm, think again.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are going to hit Obama with so many left hooks, he will beg for a right cross. Obama will return the favor.
It’s gonna be bloody and ugly and fatal. 1968 redux for the party of division. I can’t wait. Get your popcorn.
