Westboro Baptist Church decides to protest the death of three University of Wisconsin - Stout students. This is our student response to their protest. UW-Stout is a 9000 student college 70 miles east of Minneapolis, MN.
Pssst, kids…there’s another cult about an hour west of you; any chance you want to tell them to “go home,” too? I’m sure you’d have plenty of back-up.

Wow, most of me wants to jump for joy, but then there is this part of me that abhors radicalism even if it is in the face of idiots like the WBC. It is a very fine line we walk. We want to see action but not radicalism.
That could escalate so quickly. I applaud the students for taking action, but the next confrontation could be volatile. I hope the students or citizens that next take them on can do it without radicalism and emotion. Level heads, and an organized response are so much better off in the long battle.
Lord please give us the wisdom and strength to take on the likes of these Westboro Baptist Church Zealots.
