LA City Council Seeks Coveted “Undocumented” Murderers’ Endorsement

Make sure your last meal is fully digested before you plunge into this one-it’s about the L.A. City Council and its Head Illegal Alien Criminal Pimp, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

As an L.A. resident I have obviously been following this story from the beginning. I haven’t posted on it yet because every time I tried I got so angry I was afraid I’d end up throwing my computer at the Mayor’s head. One of my old computers, of course.

This story is the real essence of what is wrong with the hug-it-out approach to illegal immigration taken by the “no illegal humans” crowd. Michelle Malkin has some detailed background on the story today here. Jamiel Shaw was murdered by an illegal alien gang banger who had just been released from jail. Under an immigration policy that values the feelings of those here illegally over the safety of law-abiding citizens, LA police couldn’t turn the murderer over to federal authorities. The legislative gem that protected undocumented murdering prick is known as Special Order 40. It’s sort of a “Don’t ask, don’t tell” approach to granting sanctuary. If the cops have a someone in custody who doesn’t speak any English they aren’t to hurt his feelings by inquiring, through an interpreter, naturally, if he might be from another country.

Makes you feel all warm inside, doesn’t it?

So this gooey, feel-good law allowed the murderer, who was in jail for flashing a weapon at cops and resisting arrest, to go back on the street instead of into federal custody.

Isn’t it great when your elected officials watch out for you that way?

When Head Pimp Villaraigosa explains it, the main selling point for Special Order 40 is that it was instituted by former LA Police Chief Daryl Gates, so it must be worthwhile. Well, that was in 1979 and the times they have a changed. At the end of Gates’ tenure he was universally reviled by liberals and minorities because of the Rodney King beating. Now he’s being invoked. Convenient. Disgusting. Criminal.

Now the sane, rational, legal residents of Los Angeles (of which I am one, at least according to the latest attorney reports), want this piece of crap sanctuary law taken off the books and shoved up where it belongs.

“Care for a seat, Mayor Villaraigosa?”

“No thanks, I’m having some difficulties sitting right now…”

What stands in the way of this being done, you might ask? The sanctuary whores of the LA City Council and its Head Pimp, I might answer.

They are hand-wringing, equivocating and ducking their nutless little selves behind procedure (video). And they are doing this in front of the parents of the victim. His mother is active-duty and was serving in Iraq when her son was killed by the undocumented no illegal human. She said she was probably safer there than her son was at home. He was killed three doors from where he lived so it would appear that she has a point.

This isn’t a situation where a it’s just a bunch of white guy Republicans calling out the sanctuary idiots. These are the residents of the neighborhood where Jamiel lived and died. They are fed right the f**k up with this and aren’t interested in Councilman Rosendahl’s desire to have a “thoughtful discussion” about why we should protect people who murder our children.

This is what happens when politicians try to add nuance to a situation that is perfectly clear. Rosendahl actually had the gall to say that the discussion happening before the council last night was based on information that wasn’t clear. Here, let me help him.

CLEAR: An innocent boy is dead.

CLEAR: He was killed by an illegal alien/undocumented gang banger or whatever your bleeding heart wants to call him.

CLEAR: The murderer was in police custody 48 hours before killing Jamiel Shaw.

CLEAR: Police couldn’t turn the murderer over to federal authorities because he was protected by law.

Feel free to bombard the brain-dead council and its Head Pimp with emails and phone calls:

We have something similar here in MN with our two sanctuary cities. I understand the liberal thinking not wanting the least among us to fear the institutions that are created to protect them. However, that is stinking thinking.

Upholding the rule of law, is the only way we are going to gain the respect of the least among us while protecting the citizenship.

I am going to send that email and Stephen, thanks for giving us the chance to act on this!

This is a great example of why we have to relay the foundation so that we can chase the socialist squirrels out of our beloved institutions and return the rule of law to something everyone can be proud of and more importantly free and safe.

Politicians who once were elevated to the heights of power because of their socialist leanings are now going to find themselves out of a job. We really need to start laying the foundation to chase these socialist squirrels out and back with the rest of the Nutty left.

One would think that this is the kind of tragic failure of leadership that would lead to change but I won’t bet on that just yet. I’ve watched the California GOP flail aimlessly about for too many years. Still, the windmills are out there and tilt I must.

A copy of the letter sent to the mayor and council members:

Mr. Mayor and Council Members of the once great city of L.A.,

It look to me like you have a lack of leadership here. You could easily and quickly snuff this groundswell out with a quick and decisive striking down of your Special Order 40. Now, don’t get me wrong we have socialist squirrels here in Minnesota as well with our two sanctuary cities. However, we are working on that.

My Grizzly Groundswell mayor of LA, S. Kruiser made us aware of this travesty in his post: LA City Council Seeks Coveted “Undocumented” Murderers’ Endorsement

Now I am not sure what you envision for your great city, but it looks like your are heading headlong into another terrible incident like your city is prone to have. Let’s see a bit of leadership and innovation. You already have blood on your hands, let’s take this opportunity to redeem your office and city.

I understand the need to have the least among us feel they can access our beloved institutions. However, when the rule of law is not upheld when they first step across the border, how can we hope that any of our laws will be upheld? Especially with such socialist squirrel attempts to cripple our society like special order 40.

If we make it uncomfortable for illegal aliens to reside in our country while rewarding and cherishing our legal immigrants, a lot of this friction so needed by the socialists in election years will subside.

Awaken + Stand UP + Step into Action =Thus changing the political landscape in your backyard!

We love our legal immigrants of all colors, sizes, languages, cultures, and especially their food and art! We also love our rule of law. We owe it to our citizens and immigrants to uphold the rule of law and make it consistent and just. I do not see how the Special Order 40 upholds the rule of law in any way!

It only greys the lines and ridicules the rule of law. This simply can not stand if you call yourself any type of leader.

I encourage you to utilize this platform you embrace and have been entrusted with to lead back to conservative thought. Scrap the special rule 40 and uphold the rule of law.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Chad T. Everson

For those in the Los Angeles area, The Shaw parents will be on 790A.M. during the day show. Doug Macintire (ms) is the host and he had one hell of an article in the L.A. Daily News the other day.

Along with Jamiel’s parents, he will have Walter Moore on (the guy running against Mayor Viagra Grossa)

Glad you’re on board with that Chad. I told Eric Garcetti he was carrying on his father’s legacy of keeping killers on the street.

Like father like son I guess they say! Tell him to break the chain!

With you Gary, am talk and the Grizzly Groundswell, you are taking this backyard story and getting some traction!

Have you posted it on GOPHUB.com yet? Digg?

I DID put it up at GOP Hub and Digg. It’s still in the “submitted” phase at GOP Hub, as is typical with them lately. It usually takes them a day to publish anything of mine so timeliness and relevance are usually lost by the time it’s available for public consumption there. It kind of defeats the purpose of getting a message out quickly online. This public complaint should slow things down for me even more now!
