What WMDs???
As most people with half a brain believed that Saddam Hussein had WMDs. But we came to find out he never had the stock piles of WMDs laying around like we thought. Every intelligent agency in the world, if you can call them intelligent, believed he had WMDs. Well, it comes out that Saddam wanted to world to think that he did have them t counter Iran. I can see why he wanted to use this ruse against Iran, but to not tell the US this was just idiotic. But beyond that, Saddam was saying he was wanting to sart the WMD program as soon as the sanctions were lifted, and the sanctions were starting to loose their favor with the UN and most of Eurabia. So what does this all mean???? Well, I think that it means that all the BDS form the left is just unjustified and toatlly against what was known at the time. Also if we went down the road f the Defeatocrats, we would have lifted the sanctions against Iraq and Saddam would have started his laboratories again. He had all the people he needed to start the programs over again, and had a lot of hardware that could be converted for WMD programs. in the ling run President Bush will go down as a great President that stoppped oneof the world’s worst tyrants. But inthe meantime we will only here how bad Bush is from the MSM and the Leftists in this country. And with the upcoming elction,doyou think that this little nugget will get play in the MSM, probably not, they want to get the Socialists in the Defeatocratic Party elected.

February 1, 2008; Page A14Journalists are taught never to “bury the lead.” Yet it looks as if that’s precisely what CBS’s “60 Minutes” did in reporter Scott Pelley’s fascinating interview Sunday with George Piro, the FBI agent who debriefed Saddam Hussein following his capture in December 2003.
The Lebanese-born Mr. Piro, one of only a handful of agents at the bureau who speaks Arabic, was able to wheedle information from Saddam over a matter of months through a combination of flattery and ego-deflation that worked wonders with the former despot. But as Bruce Chapman of the Discovery Institute first noticed, the most important news in the segment comes when Mr. Piro describes his conversations with Saddam about weapons of mass destruction. The FBI interrogator says that, while Saddam said he no longer had active WMD programs in 2003, the dictator admitted that he intended to resume those programs as soon as he possibly could.
Here’s the relevant segment, which appears well down in the interview:
Mr. Piro: “The folks that he needed to reconstitute his program are still there.”
Mr. Pelley: “And that was his intention?”
Mr. Piro: “Yes.”
Mr. Pelley: “What weapons of mass destruction did he intend to pursue again once he had the opportunity?”
Mr. Piro: “He wanted to pursue all of WMD. So he wanted to reconstitute his entire WMD program.”
Mr. Pelley: “Chemical, biological, even nuclear.”
Mr. Piro: “Yes.”—- WSJ

OK what does this have to do with Hussein and WMDs??? I know that you may think Ron Paul is a God, but I think he is a fool and will be worse than either Hillary or Obama. He just doesn’t get the real world. Maybe in the world he lives in we can move back a few centuries to get back to the Constitution, but the US has moved into the future. See we have a legislature that passed laws and Supreme Court Justices which is the arbiter of what is Constitutional. We can regress and let the world go by and live in isolation, but that would destroy our economy. But hell, the Terrorists would just leave us alone then, right????
